Armory College Prep operates as a service of The Armory Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, home to the premier indoor track and field center in America and the largest high school afterschool program in New York City. The Foundation’s motto is “Keeping Kids on Track,” and Armory College Prep extends that motto beyond athletics by affording New York City youth with increased opportunity for college admission. We work with students from high-need high schools all over New York City. All aspire to go to college but face high hurdles that threaten to make that dream impossible. For most of them a gap exits between high school preparedness and college expectations. Armory College Prep endeavors to fill this gap with academic and financial counseling as well as the tools and support necessary to navigate the challenging college admissions process. If a student has the commitment to be on the track team, no matter his ability, and works hard to fulfill all high school completion and college acceptance requirements, he should be able to attend and achieve success in college. Armory College Prep’s job is to help guarantee that that happens.

The following pages provide insight into the important work that Armory College Prep does. Thank you for your interest. We welcome your encouragement and support.
